Anika Sabrine

I'm Anika Sabrine, a multidisciplinary creative working across illustration, character animation, photography, fashion design, and writing. My practice sits at the intersection of storytelling and craft — I'm drawn to work that feels handmade even when it's digital, and to details that reward a second look.

Most projects start as a sketch or a stray sentence in a notebook. From there I move between mediums depending on what the idea needs: sometimes that's a fully rendered illustration, sometimes a short animated loop, sometimes a photograph, sometimes just words. I keep a running blog documenting the process behind the work, including the parts that don't make it into the final piece.

When I'm not making things, I'm usually looking at other people's — museum shows, indie animation, thrifted pattern books, anything with a strong point of view. Get in touch if you'd like to collaborate or commission something.
